There's times when generations of people don't listen, hear, communicate, or understand just how different work and life balance can change, or quite frankly become non existent for many.  I know it took me years to understand that work for companies rarely was as rewarding as work I would do for myself, but the real kicker these days has been balancing taking hobbies, interests, and passions and now being almost expected to monetize those things. For some, it can work, for others, it just makes life a bit more bleak.
